IN this age of social media, a mere click can tarnish a reputation, with celebrities catching more strays.
Over the years, celebrities have trended on X (previously Twitter) and other social media platforms where they fall victim to hurtful and negative posts.
While some celebrities respond to trolls, other choose to ignore the negativity.
Recently, Daily Sun spoke to radio and TV presenter Penny Lebyane who said she ignores negative social media comments and keeps it moving.
Penny hosted e.tv's Sunrise, and women's talk show called Motswako on SABC2 for five seasons, and Moja Love’s Let's Talk Papgeld, among others.
Penny now hosts Inspired Sunday on SABC’s Radio2000.

The 48-year-old presenter from Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga told Daily Sun that she welcomes constructive criticism.
She said on social media people bash what they don’t like rather than the quality of work.
“People criticise you because they don’t like your hair, or they don’t like that you are so happy. I wish people were critical thinkers and critical about the work that people do so that they can raise the standard of the quality of work people do,” she said.
Penny said, however, she doesn’t pay much attention to negativity.
“I really keep it moving and I'm really dedicated to my work, and I commit myself to it. I do a lot of research on the work that I do so I don’t just speak out of my arse, excuse my French,” she said.
She said when critics comes for her with nonsense, she doesn’t have time for it.
“I'm committed to promoting arts and culture, celebrating our country, committed to helping our people tell their stories. So, they’ll only criticise me for not taking nonsense,” she said.
