Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has come to relegation-threatened Abha Club manager Pitso Mosimane's aid.

The Leaders of the South are also level on points with Al Akhdoud, who are one position above them courtesy of a superior goal difference.

Al Nassr's latest triumph means Mosimane and his side will now have the chance to climb out the relegation zone, and will leapfrog Al Akhdoud and Al Riyadh to claim 14th place and put some breathing room between themselves and the drop zone if they win their next match, with Abha Club set to take on Damac on Friday evening.
