On Wednesday evening, Ahly's South African talisman returned to goalscoring form in the Egyptian Premier League when he opened the scoring for his side in a 2-1 win over Ismaily.
The Witbank native played on the right wing for the Red Devils as he flanked new arrival Wessam Abou Ali, who was playing as the main striker.
When the Danish-born Palestinian was substituted off, Koller decided to bring on Anthony Modeste in his place, with Tau also being replaced by Reda Slim.
According to Kooora, the Frenchman's introduction did not go down well with unused attacker Kahraba.

The Egyptian's importance within the team has seemingly waned in recent weeks as he has started only two of the nine matches he has been available for in 2024.
Wednesday night's non-involvement, however, appears to have been the last straw for the Cairo native, with it believed that he is not willing to be resigned to the bench.
Ahly are reported to have received an offer from a Saudi Pro League side for Kahraba at the beginning of the campaign, but rejected it in order to keep the Egypt international at the club.

The same report states that if the trend of not playing continues, the 30-year-old will seek to leave the record African champions.
