John Travolta's wife walks out - reports

2012-05-25 08:24
Los Angeles - Kelly Preston has reportedly walked out on John Travolta.

The 49-year-old actress is said to have told friends she has "had enough" following a string of allegations against the Pulp Fiction star of sexual misconduct from a number of male masseurs, and the publication of pictures of the star dressed as a woman at a private event in 1997.

A source told the National Enquirer magazine: "Kelly told me their marriage is over and made it clear that she's no longer living in the family home.

"She's put up with John's double life for decades while his behaviour remained in the shadows.

"But all this coming out in public has humiliated her. Kelly is absolutely destroyed."

Strongly denied claims

The photographs, which were obtained by National Enquirer, show the 58-year-old actor at a party in Los Angeles wearing a white dress with a bra visible underneath, a brown belt, fur stole, earrings and a necklace, and wears eyeliner, pink lipstick and a blonde wig.

John's lawyer Marty Singer has strongly denied the claims from four masseurs that the actor behaved inappropriately when they visited him at separate times.

John and Kelly - who married in 1992 - have children Ella, 12, and 18-month-old Benjamin together.

They also had a 16-year-old son, Jett, who tragically died in January 2009.

I think she is embarrassed by it all, and surely the media must be hasseling her for comments, so the poor woman just wants to get away from it all!

Freddy Mercury was one screwed up guy as far as his private life was concerned. I love his music. John Travolta seems to be one screwed up guy as far as his private life is concerned. I love his movies.

      Audrey - 2012-05-28 09:45

What a load of Crap. My husband is a straight man and CAN dance. That is such a stereotype.

  • Julie - 2012-05-25 21:39

      derick.shawa1 - 2012-09-04 22:33

I am not a religious person at all, as a matter of fact, I am an atheist, have been for many years and will die one. I do however understand that other people feel differently. To all you religious individuals, practise what you preach, so, lets not get religion drawn into this. Personally I couldn't give one hoot what J.T. dresses up as privately. I think he's a great actor, I love his movies and that,s all the contact I have with him

  • annette.changfoot - 2012-05-26 11:38

Please don't blame anything else but the person. We have been born with a free will and the right to choose right.

      Audrey - 2012-05-28 09:50

annette, seriously? Everyone knows that you don't choose to be gay. It is biologically determined. Go and read some science and stop spouting the bible and God's law which was written by ignorant pre-1st century people who knew no better. Kelly Preston is a joke - she know what her husband was before she married him and turned a blind eye and NOW she is deserting him. Well, she is good riddance.

  • grant.cloete.9 - 2012-05-26 12:48

So wait, she knew this was goig on but only when it became public did she decide to leave him? Wow, these people really do only care about their public image.

  • kathy.hellyar - 2012-05-26 15:12

He must have really enjoyed the role he played in 'Hairspray'.

  • braamc - 2012-05-26 21:12

  • sirlewis.lewis - 2012-05-27 14:20
