Johannesburg - Comedian Kevin Hart got candid on camera, revealing how his wife Eniko forgave him after cheating on her while she was pregnant with their son Kenzo.
Kevin Hart – who made headlines last year after making a public apology through an Instagram video post to his wife and kids – opened up in an interview with People about fatherhood, fame and being a husband.
“I am amazing,” he said before adding: “I am amazing because I get it now,” responded Kevin when asked what kind of a husband he is.
The Night School actor also revealed the closely knit friendship he now has with his wife after they worked things through to save their marriage following the infidelity scandal.
“The friendship that I have with my wife is insane. Yes, that’s my wife, we’re lovers, it’s a relationship, it’s marriage…but the friendship we have is like no other.”
The couple that has been together for ten years recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary.
“Our marriage has been put to the test,” said Kevin making reference to the cheating saga.
“It’s the most difficult test ever. And, you know, sometimes those tests come from stupidity. But it’s how you handle it, and how you decide to move forward from it.”
The 39-year-old comedian also praised his wife describing her as his "backbone."
“I applaud my wife for just displaying a high level of strength that I can’t even explain,” said Kevin.
“I applaud her for being my backbone, my support system, and more importantly, taking my life to the next level.”
Kevin also revealed that his marriage with Eniko was now stronger than ever.
“The tests we’ve passed made us love each other even more,” said Kevin speaking on his marriage.
“It made us understand our bond even more.”
