Zama swaggers around the taxi rank with all her male counterparts showing her love and respect which is maybe something you wouldn’t expect in this industry dominated by Zulu men.
She fits in perfectly and is one of the gents for the most part.
Still, as is the case with a woman in any field, this industry does come with its own particular set of challenges which she navigates with the confidence and street-wise sensibility she uses to ferry her customers to and fro.
