Nikki Bella and John Cena are ‘working on their relationship’

Cape Town – Pro-wrestlers Nikki Bella and John Cena are reportedly “working on their relationship” nearly two months after calling it quits.

A rep for the Total Divas star confirmed to E! News: “Nikki Bella and John Cena are working on their relationship and taking it day by day. They appreciate all of their fans and their continued support.”

The couple have been making headlines since they called off their engagement with John confessing on The Today Show that he still loves Nikki and wants a family with her.

Nikki responded saying that she just wants both of them to be happy, whether it’s together or not.

She told Extra: “I just want John and I both to live happily ever after, whether it’s together or separate, and I just don’t want us to go down the road in life and have regrets of like ‘I did this for you’ or ‘you did this for me’. So I think it’s okay in relationships to take that moment [to think things through].”

In the midst of their breakup, the new season of reality TV show, Total Bellas - which follows Nikki and her twin sister Brie and their lives with their romantic partners – has premiered and put emphasis on what went wrong in Nikki and John’s relationship.

While Nikki and John may be working on things, the 34-year-old was spotted filming scenes for Total Divas in Miami on Thursday and appeared to be getting touchy with a man only identified as Brandon, Daily Mail reports.
