Paris Hilton on her engagement: ‘It wasn't the right decision’

Cape Town – Paris Hilton has spoken of her split for the first time since news broke that she had called off her engagement to Chris Zylka.

During an appearance on The Talk, Paris opened up about why she broke-up with The Leftovers actor, saying it was just too much too soon, E! News reports.

“I just feel that when I fall in love, I fall in love fast and hard and it was this whirlwind romance,” Paris said.

She added: “I’ve always been obsessed with Disney stories and love stories and I thought it was going to be my happy ending, and I just realised after time it wasn't the right decision.”

Meanwhile, in an interview with Gay Times – which was conducted just before Paris and Chris split – Paris revealed that her career is her number one priority.

“What’s next? World domination. I’m just going to continue working hard, living life to the fullest, releasing new products, music, and DJ-ing around the world,” she said.

Paris called it quits 10 months after Chris proposed. According to reports the amicable break up happened several weeks ago.
