Tom Hanks' son took to Instagram on Wednesday, reacting to the news that his parents tested positive for the coronavirus.
Channel24 shared the news that both Tom Hanks and his wife, actress, Rita Wilson, are the first A-listers to reveal they've been diagnosed with the Covid-19 virus. In a statement on social media, the 63-year-old wrote, "Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the coronavirus, and were found to be positive."
Now, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson's son, Chet, is sharing an update.
"They both are fine, they're not even that sick," he reassured fans in a video posted on Instagram. "They're not worried about it, they're not trippin'. But they're going through all the necessary health precautions. I don't think it's anything to be too worried about. I appreciate everyone's concern and the well wishes, but I think it's all going to be alright.
"I appreciate it, and everybody stay safe out there."
