Cape Town - Blue Ivy may be just six years old but it seems she’s already calling the shots in the Carter house!

Beyoncé and Jay-Z‘s first child was at the centre of a viral moment when she shushed her parents at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

The family turned heads on Sunday when they arrived at the event together – but without seven-month-old twins, Sir and Rumi.

Blue sat between her famous parents, wearing a white dress and cute heels and holding her own clutch.

But during singer Camila Cabello's speech about the positives of immigration, it seemed Blue was so interested she didn’t want to miss anything and stopped her parents from applauding.

According to Pop Culture, a CBS cameraman caught Blue Ivy first telling her mom to be quiet and when Queen B leaned over, her daughter gestured with her hands to both parents that they should calm down.

And just like that, Beyoncé and Jay-Z stopped applauding.

The clip had Twitter users chuckling with one person tweeting, “This video [of] Blue telling Beyoncé and Jay-Z to stop clapping so she can listen to Camila talk is all I need to live.”
