Cape Town - With less than a week to go until Meghan Markle weds Prince Harry, there’s huge interest on who’s been invited, or left off the guest list.
One person who definitely won’t be there is Bajan beauty Rihanna, who gave a hilarious response when asked if she would be attending the 19 May event.
The singer met Prince Harry in 2016 when working to raise awareness on World AIDS Day by taking HIV tests together in Barbados during Harry’s Caribbean tour.
While one would assume a friendship developed following that exchange, it seems RiRi and Harry aren’t exactly buddies.
At a launch event for her SAVAGE X Fenty lingerie line, an Access reporter asked the 30-year-old if she’ll be attending the royal wedding, to which to she responded: "So, is that really coming up, like soon or something?"
Once told that it was taking place in a week, Rihanna was questioned about her attendance and she gave a rather humorous response.
"Why would you think I’m invited?" RiRi said.
The 30-year-old then took it further and asked why he would invite her to his wedding when they only meet once.
"Okay, you met me," she said to the reporter. "Do you think you're coming to my wedding? Am I coming to yours?" to which the reporter said she’d send her an invite.
Having previously warned that she is a savage, it’s not a surprise that the Umbrella hitmaker was so upfront in her response.
