Cape Town - The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have welcomed their third child – and now bookies are betting on what the royals will name their newborn!
On Monday, Kensington Palace announced via Twitter that Kate had given birth to a baby boy at the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s hospital in London.
Since the announcement was made, the British public have been guessing what the little one, who’s the youngest sibling to Prince George (4) and Princess Charlotte (2), will be named.
According to The Sun, bookies have chosen rather traditional names in the line-up.
Names such as Arthur, Albert, Philip, James, and Edward are all proving to be popular choices.

Since giving birth on Monday, 23 April, Arthur has remained the firm favourite (at 2/1), closely followed by James (4/1), Albert (6/1), Philip (8/1) and Alexander (10/1), reports Time.
But according to People, the British public will have to wait a few days before the name is revealed. Before making the name known, Queen Elizabeth II will be informed of the parents’ choice.
William and Kate waited two days before announcing both George and Charlotte’s names.
The newborn baby will be fifth in line to the throne after Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George and older sister Princess Charlotte, who’ll go down in history as the first female royal not to be pushed back in the line of succession by a younger male sibling.
