American Humane Society: No animals were harmed in the filming of A Dog's Purpose

Cape Town - The CEO of the American Humane Society, Dr. Robin Ganzert has responded to the controversial video released from the set of A Dog's Purpose during which it seemed as though a dog in distress was forced into rough water.

In the statement released by Variety, Ganzert said, "The ongoing investigation also confirmed that a full spectrum of rigorous safety measures was in place to protect the dog throughout this particular scene."

The CEO also referenced Dennis Quaid's recent appearance on The Ellen Show where the actor said that no animals were harmed as well as making certain claims about PETA.
