Ryan Reynolds 'kidnaps' Fred Savage for Deadpool 2 re-release

Cape Town - Ryan Reynolds is in a festive mood and he’s re-created a family friendly version of Deadpool 2 for Christmas.

Once Upon a Deadpool is a PG-13 take of the sequel. 

Reynolds will be joined by Fred Savage in new scenes for the movie in an homage to Savage's starring role in the 1987 bedtime-story classic The Princess Bride.

The film will run in theatres in the US from 12 to 24 December.
