Cape Town - Ever wondered what kind music the South African government gets down to? Well, let’s just say they seem to love their hip-hop.

In a recent post the SA government’s twitter account accidently posted that it had added Nadai Nakai’s Naaa Meeaan music video to their YouTube playlist.

The hilarious post was quickly deleted shortly after but thank goodness for screen grabs.

Cassper Nyovest – who is featured in the smash hit – was quick to retweet the post.

“A while government??? This is LIT!!!! Yazi #ksazobalit in SA,” he tweeted.

Nadai Nakai also reposted a screen grab of the post on her Instagram page.

“Yo!!!! Whoever out there handling the music up in the SOUTH AFRICAN GOVERNMENT ?? should definitely keep the AUX alllllll night!!! Naaa Meean,” she captioned the post.

The SA Government then went on to tweet that it has added songs by other artists such as Kwesta, Drake and DJ Maphorisa.

We think it’s safe to say our government has good taste in music.

The post immediately began trending on Twitter, with some users even saying that the hit song, Naaa Meean is now our new national anthem.
