The first single off Katy Perry's fifth album is here.
Katy launched the song, called Daisies, on Friday along with a music video which features her in a field of, you guessed it...daisies. In another scene, the singer strips down as she enjoys the flowing waters from a stream.
"I wrote this song a couple months ago as a call to remain true to the course you've set for yourself, regardless of what others may think. Recently, it has taken a new meaning for me, in light of what the whole world is experiencing. Each of us is one in more than seven billion, with our own story of strength and resilience to tell," Katy wrote on Instagram.
While many fans speculated that Taylor Swift would be featured on the track, she, unfortunately, wasn't. But, we're still holding on to the hope that we will see a collab from these two in the future.
Katy's fifth album is set for release on 14 August.
