Actor Nyaniso Dzedze is excited to join South Africa's leading soapie, Generations: The Legacy.
The show's publicist, Nandipha Phantsi, confirms that the actor will make his debut on Friday.
"He’s a guest artist who is going to be used in story indefinitely," she explains.
Up until now both the show and Nyaniso have been keeping their cards very close to their chests about his role. Now the cat is out of the bag and Move! chats to him about his character.
Nandipha is cagey about the details and only sharing that he will be portraying Luzuko, Jack Mabaso's right-hand man.
The multi-talented actor, who has appeared in a number of productions such as e.tv's Scandal! and Ashes to Ashes to name a few, promises viewers that there will beireworks.
"Viewers should expect to feel Luzuko’s presence as he finds his place. We can all expect a never-ending feast,' he says proudly in his mother tongue, isiXhosa.
He admits that being part of the soapie is quite overwhelming but he's up for the challenge.
"I feel like I'm thrown into a den of lions, except I'm a lion too. It feels like an opportunity to hear my own roar," he tells Move!.
