'Suits' hunk Patrick J Adams will return for final season

Cape Town - Patrick J. Adams is returning for the ninth and final season of Suits.

The actor who played the role of Mike Ross left the show at the end of the seventh season when the character left the firm to move to Seattle with his wife, Rachel (Meghan Markle).

New York - Real life will imitate art this spring at the USA series Suits when series regular Meghan Markle bids farewell to the legal drama in a wedding - and then goes off to marry her prince in real life.

According to Variety Mike will return mid-season when he gets involved in a case that will see him go head to head with Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl).

Patrick shared the news of his return on Instagram. Alongside a photo, he wrote: "Go time. Very excited to head back into the fray one last time. Thanks to the fans for keeping the flame alive and to Mr.Aaron Korsh for welcoming me back."
