Cape Town - Worldwide wedding fever is still at a high after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding at Windsor Castle on 19 May 2018.
To celebrate the couple’s marriage, Afrikaans lifestyle channel VIA (DStv147) will broadcast two special documentaries about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

In the first doccie the couple tell their fairy-tale love story in their own words. We follow their journey from childhood – his in England, hers in California – to their first meeting and finally their engagement. A string of commentators also share insights that shed light on the royal couple’s relationship. Ons praat oor: Harry en Meghan Deel 1 will be broadcast on Thursday 30 May at 19:00 on VIA with a repeat on Saturday 2 June at 15:00.
In the second documentary the cameras take a peek behind the scenes of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Windsor wedding. Viewers who tuned in to watch the wedding of the year will now get to see the couple’s big day from a different, insightful perspective and will once again get witness Meghan’s transformation from actress to duchess. Ons praat oor: Harry en Meghan Deel 2 will air on Thursday 31 May at 19:00 on VIA with a repeat on Sunday 3 June at 15:00.
Both documentaries are an hour long and will be aired in English.
