WATCH: New House of Cards clip buries Kevin Spacey’s Frank Underwood

Cape Town – A new clip shared on the official Twitter account of Netflix drama House of Cards has revealed how they exited disgraced actor Kevin Spacey’s character.

Frank Underwood is six feet under in the sixth and final season.

In the clip, Robin Wright’s character Claire Underwood – who plays Frank’s wife – is seen speaking to her husband, only for it to be revealed that she is actually addressing his tomb stone.

“I’ll tell you this though, Francis. When they bury me it won’t be in my backyard. And when they pay their respects, they’ll have to wait in line,” Claire says before walking away.

Netflix announced in November 2017 that Kevin would no longer be a part of the series and that it’s cutting all other ties with the actor after a series of allegations of sexual harassment and assault.

The first teaser of the final season, released in March, showed no trace of Kevin and rather emphasised a shift in focus on Robin.
