Cape Town - Following her history-making win at the 2019 BET Awards, Sho Madjozi received a hero's welcome at OR Tambo in Johannesburg on Monday.
The rapper from Limpopo won Best New International Act at the 2019 BET Awards in Los Angeles, making her the first female rapper from South Africa to walk away with the prestigious award.
Sho received a warm South African welcome when she landed at OR Tambo in Johannesburg, with Minister Nathi Mthethwa joining her family at the arrival gate.
She received an emotional greeting from her mother and left the airport, wrapped in the South African flag, as she made her way to a press briefing.
