Cape Town - Music producer DJ Cleo recently shared a never before seen video clip of him in studio with the late kwaito star Mandoza.

In the video, which he posted onto his Twitter page, the pair is in studio back in 2004 recording the hit Sgelekeqe.

Mandoza, whose real name is Mduduzi Tshabalala, promising fans that they’re busy making a hit for every December.

Clearly missing him, Cleo posted the clip with ‘R.I.P’ and crying emojis.

This was four years after the star shot to solo stardom with his cross-border hit Nkalakatha. He was sadly diagnosed with nasopharyngeal carcinoma, a cancer that attacks the tissue in the upper part of the throat behind the nose.

Mandoza died in 2016 at age 38.

He is survived by his wife Mpho and four children.

Despite having died Mandoza is still making a contribution in this world for those living with cancer.

The Mandoza Foundation in partnership with a nonprofit organisation, The Hand Out Foundation, recently raised funds for cancer patients at Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital in Johannesburg.
