Boity helps student buy costly calculator for exams

Johannesburg – Local stars are showing their generosity to fans on Twitter.

First we saw a Twitter user thank Bonang for buying him an Xbox, and now a student has reached out to Boity to thank her for helping him buy a costly calculator.  

Reaching out to celebrities on social media, Siya Dondolo asked for assistance to purchase a Casio scientific calculator, saying that his bursary had not yet paid out and he needed the device for exams. Coming to his rescue, Boity sent the student R500.  

“Thanks again @Boity for the eWallet. Here is proof of purchase. I will never forget what you’ve done for me. And thank you for trusting me with your money, many didn’t,” Siya tweeted on Thursday, sharing a picture of the calculator and his receipt.  

“Aaaaw, Siya. It is an absolute pleasure, my dear. You’re most welcome. I’m very happy I could help,” Boity tweeted in response.
