Johannesburg - Following a video that went viral over the weekend where musician, Mampintsha can be seen being kicked out of a club in Pietermaritzburg – the artist has now issued an apology to South Africans and to Babes Wodumo for assaulting her.

In the video, the 36-year-old appears to be entering Pietermaritzburg club, Cubana when a group of men attempt to block him from gaining access while chanting the words ‘Khon'iyngane lay’ndlini Mampintsha’ (there are children here at home) , mimicking what he was saying during the viral assault video.

Although some people who were at the nightclub allege that the commotion lasted for a few minutes and in the end Mampintsha got to perform, many were excited over how the revelers had treated him.
