Cape Town - The hashtag #SomhaleTraditionalWedding broke the internet over the weekend as Somizi and Mohale had their long-awaited and star-studded wedding in Johannesburg.
Mr and Mr shared their special day with the public through social media posts with Mohale revealing that his family had even given his husband a new name "Kganya."

It is cultural practice for families to give a name to someone being welcomed into the family.
Kganya has different meanings and this will depend on the context in which it is used.
Essentially Kganya means shine, light, to be bright and to be proud. There hasn’t been any mention of Mohale being given a name by the Mhlongo's.
