Cape Town - Isibaya actress Nomzamo Mbatha recently revealed in a tweet that she was among one of the honorable laureates to have a rose named after her at Ludwig’s Rose Farm.

The 28-year-old, who recently stole the show at the AFI Joburg Fashion Week, received an honorary rose alongside former South African president Nelson Mandela, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Walter and Albertina Sisulu— at the opening of the 47th Spring Rose Festival.

“Never in a million years did I ever think I would have a rose named after me or join this caliber of laureates,” Nomzamo captioned a tweet snap in which she can be spotted wearing a floral crown. Yesterday was truly special. Thank you Ludwig Roses for this profound recognition”
