Johannesburg – It's been months since Cassper Nyovest hit the stage at the Global Citizen Festival in Johannesburg, and his performance is still getting recognition as one of the best on the night.
Chatting on radio show The Breakfast Club, presenter Charlamagne and producer/rapper Swizz Beatz spoke about Cassper's iconic performance, saying that the Move For Me muso "killed it".
"I was in South Africa last December, and before Jay and Bey went on, and after Ed Sheeran, it was Cassper Nyovest. And Cassper killed it. He went on after Ed Sheeran and before Jay and Bey. Like, he was the co-headliner like that," Charlamagne said.
Swizz Beatz quickly chimed in, adding: "And he killed it more than everybody. It's his town."
Sharing the clip on his Twitter account, Cassper thanked the two US stars for the mention.
"Shout out to @THEREALSWIZZZ and Charlamagne for the mention on the breakfastclub yesterday. LOVE! AFRICA TIME!!! [sic]"
