Moonchild Sanelly opens up about being sexually assaulted

Cape Town - As more women are coming out to expose men who have sexually assaulted them following the devastating rape and murder of UCT student Uyinene Mrwetyana, singer Moonchild has also shared her experiences with sexual abuse.

In Twitter posts, the My Power singer recounted three separate incidents where she was sexually harassed by her uncle, her cousin as well as a man she had been dating.

"One time I was sexually harassed by my uncle and went to report it with my friend Maps The cops both male and Women asked me what was I wearing and why did I dance with my uncle and that I should go home and talk about it with my family They took me in the van and drove me home," she wrote before explaining how he threatened not to pay for her Varsity fees if she told anyone.
