Cape Town - On Monday, social media users were shattered after allegations of a split between one of Mzansi’s favourite celebrity couples, Nomzamo Mbatha and Maps Maponyane came to light.
Allegations of Maps Maponyane cheating on his bae, who he often refers to as his “buddy, is what allegedly caused the unofficial couple’s (they have not confirmed or denied their romantic relationship) split.
Reports claimed that a source close to the pair revealed that Nomzamo is certain about Maps’ infidelity.
“The cheating rumours are nothing new but Nomzamo got proof that couldn't be disputed. She's upset. She didn't expect this‚" the source allegedly said.
Taking to Twitter to address the allegations, the Isibaya actress casually denied the claims by tweeting to Maps and saying they were being made fun of and further asking her “buddy” if he was okay.
To which Maps replied to with comforting words and a laugh.
Although the pair seem to be in a good place with each other, tweeps were not convinced as the two are known to be very secretive and sarcastic about their relationship.
