Demi-Leigh celebrates 2 years since her Miss SA crowning

Johannesburg – In the space of two years Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters has managed to win the Miss South Africa crown, bring home the Miss Universe title, fall in love with a hunky US sports star and then get engaged too. 

The beauty queen has definitely accomplished a lot in a short amount of time, and on Tuesday she took the opportunity to reminisce when she celebrated the anniversary of the day she became Miss SA. 

Demi posted a few pictures of her crowing moment on social media. "Today, 2 Years ago. Thank you for believing in me South Africa, it's been the biggest honor to represent you! [sic]" she wrote.

And while she may have passed on both her crowns now, Demi is still busy as ever, having spent a few days in SA recently where she attended events.
