Approaching on two years since she was involved in a near-fatal car accident, Sbhale Mpisane has shared a new photo from her recovery in ICU on Instagram.
In August 2018, following a horrific car accident, the local fitness influencer was transported to a hospital in Durban, where she was treated for three months.
While recovering in hospital and at home, the Mpisane family shared that Sbahle suffered severe head trauma that resulted in partial memory loss.
The 24-year-old has since made a full recovery, and earlier this year set her fitness goals for 2020.
Sbahle, who has inspired many through her recovery, took to Instagram, sharing a photo from her recovery in hospital.
"Today I am thankful I have another day to live in this life," she wrote.
"A testimony to a living God who intercedes between life and death," Nomzamo Mbatha wrote in the comment section of the post.
Other celebrities to express their well wishes include actress Winnie Ntshaba and body-positive activist Lesego 'Thickleeyonce' Legobane.
