Cape Town – Princess Beatrice will tie the knot with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in 2020 – and it looks like the royal is keen to start her family "soon" after.

The couple announced their engagement in September. "We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement. We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can't wait to be married," they said in a statement.

Now, according to royal reporter, Phil Dampier, the princess is also looking forward to starting a family with the businessman.

"I've heard Princess Beatrice is getting on very well with Christopher [Edoardo's three-year-old son] and would like to have a family of her own soon."

As for the wedding, Phil said: "I think it'll be in the summer but don't think they know yet."

"I very much doubt it will be televised," he added. "I don't think from people I'm speaking to she particularly wanted a wedding as lavish as Eugenie's anyway. In the wake of her dad's problems, I'd be absolutely shocked if it was televised live and I'm pretty certain it'll be a low key affair, possibly private, and she'll release one or two photos afterwards. It won't be abroad as the Queen can't go abroad."

Ever since the couple announced their engagement, the rumour mill's been swirling as people speculate about their special day. From the above and what we've gathered, while we're sure it will be a beautiful occasion, it may be a not-so-royal affair from what we've gathered.
