Ricky Gervais won't bring back 'The Office' UK, sorry!

Ricky Gervais will never bring back The Office as he thinks "David Brent at 60 is too sad".

Airing on the BBC, The Office UK ran for two seasons and a two-part special, before ending for good in 2003.

The series followed a mockumentary-style format in the day-to-day life of the Wernham Hogg Paper Company's Slough Office, run by David Brent (Ricky Gervais).

"I don't think I'll ever bring back the old favourites," he explained.  "People think they want more, but they don't. They just want the feeling they had when they saw it for the first time. David Brent at 60 is too sad."
