WATCH: John Cena changes his tune and says he wants to be a dad

Cape Town – It looks like John Cena has changed his mind.

The pro-wrestler has long been vocal about not wanting children but his feelings towards having kids have most recently played out in the latest season of Total Bellas.

In the new season of the show viewers get an inside look of what went wrong in John and ex-fiancée Nikki Bella’s relationship, including their disagreement about kids.

Now, in a paparazzi video obtained by E! News, John admits he is now older and wiser and definitely does want children.

“Of course I would love to be a dad! By the way, that's an about-face for me and I realize very much that I have been steadfast in saying that I don't want children, but I'm a little bit older now, wiser.”

He added that people change their minds all the time as they age, saying that he didn’t want children after dedicating his life to work but is now realising there is more to that.

“I would love it only because I dedicated my life to my work and now I am realising that there is life and life exists and it's beautiful and I think part of that is being a parent, so we'll see.”

John’s change of mind comes after reports that he and Nikki are working on their relationship, after calling off their wedding.
