Before Meghan Markle became a member of the royal family, she often shared her favourite recipes on Instagram and her lifestyle website, The Tig.

During her time as a member of the royal firm, she kept to her love for cooking, even in her charity work. She wrote the forward for the successful charity cookbook, Together: Our Community Cookbook, which features recipes from women whose community was affected by the Grenfell Tower fire in 2017.

With the coronavirus continuing to spread and most countries still under lockdown, one of her old recipes has resurfaced – and pretty much gone viral. Can you guess which one?

It's her banana bread, of course – that Prince Harry absolutely loves!

According to People, when Harry and Meghan visited Australia back in 2018, they stayed at Admiralty House – the Sydney official residence of the Governor-General of Australia. Meghan baked a batch of banana bread the night before visiting a family-run farm in the city of Dubbo for The Woodleys who had been struggling during the drought.

Though Meghan has never shared the exact recipe, it had two secret ingredients that made the "five-star" banana bread particularly "delicious", according to guests: chocolate chips and ginger.

On the day Meghan was reportedly worried she may have included too many bananas in the batch, but Harry quickly quipped: "There's never too many bananas!"
