According to E! News, Prince Harry couldn’t help but gush about Charles’ reaction to being asked in BBC One's documentary called Prince, Son and Heir: Charles at 70.
He said:“I asked him to and I think he knew it was coming, and he immediately said ‘Yes, of course, I'll do whatever Meghan needs and I'm here to support you.’”
“For him that's a fantastic opportunity to step up and be that support, and you know he’s our father so of course he’s going to be there for us,” Harry added.
Also speaking in the doccie, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, said of Charles and Meghan: “It was very touching and a lovely gesture.”
BBC One describes the documentary as a commemorative piece to mark the 70th birthday of the Prince of Wales. The doccie charts the prince's working life, as well as features behind-the-scenes footage of Charles with Queen Elizabeth, and kids Princes William and Harry.
