Cape Town - As if we could ever get enough Marvel, this is some incredible acting chops from Daniel Kaluuya and Danai Gurira.

While Avengers: Infinity War continues to break records, fans remain in awe of its predecessor – Black Panther.

On Tuesday a deleted scene from the revolutionary movie was released by Marvel (through USA Today). And it was so powerful, it had fans asking why it was cut.

According to Collider, the scene focuses on the marriage of Okoye (Danai Gurira) and T’Challa’s right-handman, M’Kabi (Daniel Kaluuya), who find themselves at odds when Killmonger (Michael B Jordan) comes to Wakanda to claim the throne.

As a dedicated general of the Dora Milaje, Okoye has an issue with the way M’Kabi turned her allegiance. And according to Screenrant, the clip features an intro from director Ryan Coogler where he confirms the two characters are married.

In the scene we see husband and wife debating what is best for Wakanda. They then come to the powerful realisation they aren’t as like-minded as they thought.

So why did the scene get cut? Unfortunately, Ryan and his team felt it didn’t fit into the third act of the movie naturally and had to leave it out.

Check out the scene along with Ryan’s commentary below:
