Cape Town -  So after all the dissing between the hip-hop scene’s two biggest stars, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, there seems to be a truce – thanks to the glamorous magic of the Met Gala.

This comes after Nicki opened up in a teary interview with New Zealnad radio DJ Zane Louw on his Apple Music Beats 1 radio show in April. Nicki broke down into tears when talking about how Cardi badmouthed her. This came after Nicki was happy to let Cardi feature with her on Migos’ single, Motorsport.

Yet word has it Nicki was blindsided by Cardi’s feature on the track. Cardi then complained about Nicki on Capital Xtra last November, saying Nicki altered her verse on the track before it came out – without Cardi hearing it.

“When I first came in the game, if a female of that stature had done a feature with me on it, I would only be singing their praises and say thank you,” Nicki said.

The heat between the two intensified after Nicki dissed Cardi in her latest single, Chun-Li – with fans coming to Nicki’s on social media.

But according to E! News, it looks like designer Jeremy Scott has healed the rift between the two. Cardi attended her first Met Gala as the Moschino designer's plus-one. Nicki is a close friend of Jeremy's, and in 2016 they attended the Met Gala together. With the site reporting Jeremy took it upon himself to unite the beefing chart-toppers.

Snaps were caught of Nicki and Cardi in conversation, with things going better than anyone would have imagined. So much so that the Barbie Tingz rapper reportedly rubbed Cardi’s baby bump!
