Johannesburg – As the first official Comic Con Africa inches closer, the line-up for the big event has met a few more changes.
Fans were happy to learn on Monday that Canadian actor Demore Barnes has been added to the line-up of the festival. “The more you ask, Demore we provide! Demore Barnes (Supernatural, Hannibal, American Gods and The Flash) will be at #ComicConAfrica,” organisers announced through an Instagram post.

Well known for bringing to life the roles of Archangel Raphael in Supernatural and Mr. Ibis in American Gods, Demore joins the likes of Kevin Sussman (The Big Bang Theory) and Anthony Mackie (Marvel’s The Falcon), who are also set to attend the festival.
But along with the good news, Comic Con organisers also spread a little bit of disappointment with a separate post announcing that Star Trek’s Ricky Worthy has cancelled his appearance.
“Due to a change in production schedule, Rick Worthy will no longer be attending #ComicConAfrica,” the Instagram post reads.

Rick is the second actor to withdraw from the festival, with Aquaman star Jason Momoa's cancellation having been announced in July.
Comic Con Africa will take place from 14 to 16 September at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit and International Convention Centre.
