Cape Town - DJ Zinhle raised a couple of eyebrows about her relationship status after an interview on East Coast Radio.
The mother-of-one went on the East Coast Drive with Bongani and Mags and spoke about her relationship with rapper AKA.
In the interview Zinhle spoke about the journey of forgiveness she had taken to move past the public break-up she had with AKA. “I had to forgive everyone because the longer you hold on to anger or resentment, it doesn’t affect anyone else but you,” she explained.
She also spoke about the relationship she has with Bonang, stating that although they have never been friends, they are "cool" with each other. “We've never been friends before that, I think that's the mistake...but we cool, we don't look at each other funny, we are decent girls, we are good girls."
When asked about her relationship with AKA right now, the DJ initially laughed off the matter, then moments later admitted to not knowing whether she was in love with him.
"I don't know...I'm still trying to rediscover the love thing," she responded.
It was this response that sent many tweeps into speculation on the DJ’s relationship status with AKA.
“It’s obvious they back together and they are happy,” wrote one user.
Some users came to her defense, stating that she had been together with the rapper for a while and perhaps she still needed some time.
“She is trying to figure out the love thing...3 yrs is long time.” commented the user.
