I don’t know how it is for you but for me, hip hop has long since been the lens through which I view the world.

Everything about it makes so much sense and can be applied in all areas of life.

Take for instance the idea of gamesmanship and beef. If I am better than you at something, then I need to be able to prove it to you more than once lest it be considered a fluke. Or beef, you disagree with someone or endure a falling out and depending on the severity of it, you can either squash it after a couple of shots have rung out or that person is now your opp [opposition/opponent] forever. I tend to gravitate towards the latter outlook. You were talking all kinds of wild shit and now what, you want to tell me a joke or go for a meal, you mad, F.O.H!
