Sia is a mom!
The Chandelier singer revealed on Tuesday on SiriusXM's The Morning Mash Up that she adopted two teenage boys last year as they were ageing out of the foster care system.
"I actually adopted two sons last year. They were both 18 — they're both 19 years old now... I love them," she said.
Speaking about her new family, the 44-year-old admitted the pandemic has complicated things. "They are both finding it pretty difficult, one more so than the other," she said. "But they're both doing things that are really good for them right now, that are really helpful. They're really doing a lot of educational stuff that's good for them."
This isn't the first time the Cheap Thrills singer has spoken about expanding her brood. Remember when she texted Diplo for "no-strings" attached sex?
In an interview with GQ, the Australian singer said of her relationship with Diplo: "Much of our relationship is just being spent trying not to have sex so that we wouldn't ruin our business relationship because he's super-duper hot."
She added: "This year I wrote him a text and I said, 'Hey, listen, you're like one of five people that I'm sexually attracted to. And now that I've decided to be single for the rest of my life and I just adopted a son, I don't have time for a relationship. If you're interested in some no-strings sex, then hit me up'."
Last year Sia also shared that she would like to adopt Dasani, a 16-year-old rapper featured in the documentary Foster.
She hasn't revealed the identities of her boys though and whether or not Dasani is one of them.
