Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have officially purchased a new home.
The couple, who were staying in Tyler Perry's R334.5 million mega-mansion since their decision to exit the royal firm and relocate, have bought a house in one of the wealthiest communities in the US, Santa Barbara, reports Page Six.
According to the publication, the couple and their one-year-old son, Archie, have been staying in their new home for the past six weeks. The upscale California area is also home to Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres.
A source confirmed: "This is where they want to continue their lives after leaving the UK. This is the first home either of them has ever owned. It has been a very special time for them as a couple and as a family — to have complete privacy for six weeks since they moved in.
"They intend to put down their roots in this house and the quiet community, which has considerable privacy. This is where they want to bring Archie up, where they hope he can have as normal a life as possible."
The Sussexes, of course, haven't had the smoothest start since their big move. They've issued warnings and threatened legal action when they stayed in both Canada and Los Angeles this year, after paparazzi snuck in shots of the famous family.
A rep for the couple later added of their latest move, telling People: "They have settled into the quiet privacy of their community since their arrival and hope that this will be respected for their neighbours, as well as for them as a family."
