Tom Hanks may be back home, but the A-lister says he’s still feeling a little fluish.
The 63-year-old, along with his wife, Rita Wilson, tested positive for the Covid-19 virus last week but has since been released from the hospital. Their son, Chet Hanks, shared an update on Monday saying they’re "feeling a lot better," while the Cast Away actor has taken to Instagram to give fans an update of his own.
"Hey folks. Good News: One week after testing positive, in self-isolation, the symptoms are much the same. No fever, but the blahs," he said. "Folding the laundry and doing the dishes leads to a nap on the couch."
The actor seems to be in good spirits though, joking about some "bad news" too. "My wife @ritawilson has won 6 straight hands of Gin Rummy and leads by 201 points," he said. And then he commented on the jokes everyone seems to be making about the amount of vegemite he puts on his toast, which he shared in a previous update.
"I have learned not to spread my Vegemite so thick," he quipped, before ending on a positive note.
"We are all in this together. Flatten the curve."

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were the first A-list celebs to reveal their diagnosis after which Olga Kurylenko, Idris Elba and Game of Thronesactor, Kristofer Hivju, shared that they too tested positive.
The rest of Hollywood seems to be putting their influence to good use though, encouraging fans to "stay home" and self-isolate so we can, indeed, flatten the curve.
