Simz Ngema remembers Dumi Masilela’s final goodbye to her

It has been two years since the untimely death of actor and muscian Dumi Masilela – and his wife Actress Simphiwe Ngema is keeping his memory alive.

She recently recalled Dumi’s final goodbye to her.

She wrote in an Instagram post that a few days before he was murdered in a botched hijacking, he sang her a song called Eternal Crush which has now become a song that consoles her every time she misses him.

“Every time I feel down I listen to this song. Dumi recorded this song 4days before he passed away and it was the last song he recorded[sic],” she posted on her Instagram.

The former Muvhango actress vividly remembers how her late husband sang the song to her and their interaction thereafter.

“When he played it for me I said to him “you sang this song with your soul” and he said “I was crying when I sang this song” When you listen to the song you can actually hear that he was crying. This song was his goodbye. #Boongs #eternalcrush #finalgoodbye,” she shared.

Simz, as she is affectionately referred to, has been sharing her feelings with fans throughout her mourning process. She’s also revealed before that the thought of moving on terrifies her.
