Cape Town - It’s been a month since the sudden passing of motswako pioneer, rapper HHP, and his wife Lerato Sengadi is struggling to come to terms with his death.
Lerato, who was ruled as HHP’s customary wife after a legal battle with the late rapper’s family in an attempt to halt the funeral – revealed in a recent post that the grief she is feeling was real even though his passing felt surreal.
“It’s been a month. Feels like an eternity. Feels like yesterday. Feels so surreal,” the publicist captioned a selfie of herself and late husband.
“But the grief is so real. I know the strength God has bestowed upon me is a gift from u. [sic]”

Although Lerato’s interdict to stop Jabba’s funeral was denied by the court, just a day after the hip-hop star was laid to rest reports surfaced that she had kicked out his son from the family home.
It was alleged by Jabba’s family spokesperson, Nkululeko Ncana that Lerato had kicked out HHP’s "teenage son" from his Randpark Ridge home which Lerato’s lawyer has since denied.
